If you want to join, you can sign up by sending us an email with your name and phone number. We would like to emphasize that we have a limited number of places so it is first come, first served!
About joikebattle
Yoik battle is a competition strongly inspired by the rap battle that began to flourish in the 80s. Yoik battle has been organized a few times in the past at Márkomannu, Raasten Rastah and Ubmejen Biejvieh. Now the audience in Kautokeino will also get to experience this at Báktehárji during easter.
The competition involves the participants competing 1 against 1 in a tournament until a winner is chosen. Some parts are a cappella and some parts are with music. The audience is an important factor in who advances in each round. The entire show is presented by Mikkel Gaup.
