The Sámi Easter Festival in Kautokeino is a festival held every year during the Easter week. Kautokeino is a stronghold of the Sámi language, where Sámi culture and way of life are closely connected to everyday life. It is the largest rural area in Norway, and here many opportunities arise to experience nature and reindeer, traditional handicrafts, and cultural expressions that are not found elsewhere in the world.
