The Sámi Grand Prix is ​​Sápmi's biggest music event, and every year brand new songs and yoiks are presented.


Sámi Grand Prix 2022 is arranged Easter Eve 16.04.2022 in Báktehárji and is broadcasted live on NRK 1, NRK TV and radio. You can watch the show and vote for your favorite wherever you are, or you can take part in the show and watch in LIVE in Báktehárji.

SOÁ participates with the song «Áiggi Mielde».
The group consists of vocalist Ellinor Skartland from Deatnu/Tana on Norwegian side of Sápmi and band members Andreas Gundersen and David Cariano Timme.

Andreas Gundersen has written lyrics and composed the song.

ELIN AND THE WOODS
DÁT VUOVDI

Elin and The Woods consists of Elin Kåven from Karasjok on Norwegian side of Sápmi and Robin Lynch. They participate with the song "Dát Vuovdi" They have participated in the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix twice. Elin Kåven has participated in SGP several times.

AILI from Karasjok on Norwegian side of Sápmi participates with the song "Bajimusas (Rooftop).

Lyrics and melody are made by Aili Kathrine Wergeland Teigmo and Ilja Eriksson.

Mirja Palo is from Jokkmokk on the Swedish side of Sápmi. She participates with the song "Hilla".

She has written lyrics and composed the melody herself.

Ingá-Máret Gaup-Juuso is from Karesuando on the Finnish side of Sápmi. She participates with the song "Dovdameahttumii.

Lyrics and melody are made by Ylva Persson, Linda Persson, Paul Dubrovsky and Ingá-Máret Gaup-Juuso.

Natalie Carrion is from Umeå on the Swedish side of Sápmi. She sings for the first time in Southern Sámi language, and participates with the song "Daelviejïjjie".


She has written lyrics and melody herself.
