Classical Concert at Juhls - Ánnámáret & Ilkka Heinonen

The tradition continues! Juhls Silvergallery in collaboration with Hetta Music Days, we invite you to a captivating concert on Easter Eve. This year's programme, Reflections — Heijastuksia, offers a vibrant blend of chamber music, folk traditions and Sámi joik. The concert features music by Franz Schubert, Sofia Gubaidulina’s Reflections on the Theme B-A-C-H, and a spirited quintet by Edouard Du Puy. A special highlight of the afternoon is Ánnámáret’s new and traditional yoiks, accompanied by the archaic jouhikko, masterfully played by Ilkka Heinonen. Together, they bring the deep resonance of Sámi musical heritage into dialogue with classical traditions. Performed by outstanding musicians in the unique atmosphere of Juhls Silver Gallery.
