About the Event
"Sáhkku" game night is part of the tour, Festival i hele fylket, which is held in conjunction with Finnlitt international litterature festival. Finnlitt is held in Kirkenes 18th of April 2026.
Sáhkku game world champion, Dag Broch, will be attending the game night and will teach the rest of us more about the old Sámi game.
The duojár/craftsman Per Andersen has made the gameboard that Finnmark county library will be gifting to Kautokeino library.
This game night is suitable for both the young and old.
It is an free event and is a collaboration between Finnmark County Library and Kautokeino Public Library.
