SÁMJAM Concert

SÁMJAM, which is the first foundation for Sámi childrens' leisure time musical activities, is giving a special concert. More than 30 performers will be entering the stage, both with traditional joiks and newer songs. - We are going to present many famous voices during this gig, the leader of the board, Issát Sámmol Hætta. SÁMJAM is aiming to give both financial and musical support to local courses etc. for children at the age of 6-16 (primary school). All income from this concert will go into the fond for Saami Childrens' Music Foundation.

The following joikers, singers and musicians will perform at the concert:

Mathis O. Eira, Ayla Nutti, Sárá Gáren Ánne Nilut, Piera Joavnna Somby, Inger Karoline Gaup, Ca2 (Issát Sámmol & Kirste band), Dimitri Joavku, Kautokeino youth's choir and "Čiegus nuohtalaš".
