The Sami Easter Festival is a finalist for the Organizer Award 2022 in two categories

The Sami Easter Festival in Kautokeino is a finalist in the categories Festival of the Year and Moment of the Year!

It is Norske kulturarrangører who present the award. The nomination is incredibly cool and a great honor for the festival! This shows that the work is seen and appreciated at national level as well.

It's incredibly fun to be a finalist in two categories! In the Festival of the Year category, members of Norwegian concert organizers must vote for the winner, while in the Moment of the Year category, the audience votes for the winner. In our festival, of course, there are an incredible number of memorable moments. The nominated moment was captured by Mads Suhr Pettersen on Maundy Thursday 2022 in the festival lavvos at LávvuLávdi.

Last year's leading stars

Norwegian concert organizers write this on their website:

- The nominees range from Kautokeino in the north to Kristiansand in the south. We have seen living room concerts, swimming pool arenas, idyllic mountainside festivals and cultural events at asylum reception centres. Organizer Norway has really put a year of hard work behind it. They have adapted and created magic with a large dose of creativity, says general manager of Norwegian Cultural Organizers Siri Haugan Holden

Vote for us!

The other finalists in Festival of the Year are major festivals such as Øyafestivalen, Vinjerock and Oslo World.
